Happy Tuesday!

By now, I know many of you have been seeing and hearing all about Meta's new Threads platform that just launched.. for those who haven't heard, I had to bring the convo here to my newsletter community -- have a feeling this one's gonna be big for a lot of you..

I had the chance to play with the app for a little bit during its beta launch, and what I think is that all of you need to go immediately and sign up for your Threads account. I think the big thing here is that everybody's wondering if this is gonna be a "Twitter killer." In my opinion, it's not about "killing" Twitter .. the world is about "and" not "or," and Threads is just offering another option for those who maybe missed the Twitter boat or the TikTok boat to get in early on an exciting new social platform.

Whether you end up using it longterm or not, I encourage you all.. sign up, go explore the app, see what's up. It's incredibly important that you go and try new things. The key when there's new platforms that matter that come out is you tasting it for yourself. Maybe you can engage your existing IG community or build a whole new one.. Don't get sucked into the debate of whether it's "worth it" or not... this is not Threads vs Twitter -- they'll both exist. This is just an opportunity to try new shit, try to build your audience and provide value.

Listen to this video and this one too.. Please understand the concept of “and” versus the concept of “or” .. and be in the camp of “maybe” and most of all be into “tasting” aka learning and trying new things. Also understand this platform comes with community from day 1 which matters and will help it a lot.
