You’ve probably felt the buyer’s high we’re talking about.
When you make a purchase of something you want, and are anticipating receiving it, you get a little dopamine rush.
And it gets you into a rhythm of wanting to purchase more to get that feeling again.
It all happens under the radar.
You barely know it’s happening, because it’s a chemical reaction in your brain.
As a marketer who’s genuinely trying to help someone solve a problem, you probably have more to offer than you can fit into a $17, $27, or $37 ebook or training.
So you ethically just give your buyer the choice to get MORE of what they already want.
Some will take the upsell, and others won’t.
That’s the math of marketing.
But when you have the right offer that perfectly compliments your initial offer…
A certain percentage off your buyers will say YES.
McDonalds does it with fries. Car companies do it with add ons at purchase time.
Amazon does it in the “People Also Bought” section that shows up as soon as you hit buy.
It’s powerful. It’s worked for ages, and it’s something you can easily add when you have the right tools and
training.
