Here's a very common old school home business owners (a.k.a. network marketers) prospecting story:
Â
"For about 5 years in a row, every single Friday, at 7:30pm, YOU put on a show... aka an
Opportunity Meeting. ;-)
And almost every week, there would be at least one guy in the audience, who sat stone-faced.
Arms crossed.
And would often try to break YOUR mojo, with some skeptical
remark.
For the longest time YOU tried to "convert" these people.
YOU'D talk to them after the meeting.
Confident that YOU'LL smash their doubts into smithereens... but only fooling YOURself into thinking their
skepticism and whacky questions are "real objections" had to overcome.
Looking back, when YOU really do some deep thinking about it, that's a whole lot of wasted time and energy, YOU'LL
never get back."
Â
And if you bump into prospects like that, even when it's online, run the other way.
That's how I would deal with it now.
Because there are plenty of people who are driven, motivated, and are looking
for what you have.
They may have questions, and might need a gentle nudge... but they don't need to be convinced.
And they sure as heck don't need to be sold on becoming a home-based entrepreneur.
The only challenge is, they are a small fraction of our society.
And that's perfectly normal. And finding them on social media (or using traditional prospecting) without
leveraging digital systems is like looking for a needle in a haystack.Unless...You're using attraction marketing to get them to reach out to you, while automatically weeding out all the time-wasters, leaving you only high-quality prospects to deal
with.People that actually WANT to talk to you and see what you've got.If that sounds like a great way for you to build your business with more leverages long term...Here's how to make it happen...Talk soon,
