Believe it or not...

When I got started in this industry, I was regularly hosting "home parties".

Yep, literally for the first nine months, I was selling vitamins to anyone who would listen.

And inevitably, there would be at least one person who would sit there, stone-faced, with their arms crossed, armed with objections.

It can mess with your mojo!

I used to try to "convert" these people—I'd listen to their accusations thoughtfully, thinking I could overcome their doubts and prejudices.

But I was only fooling myself.

Their skepticism wasn't something I had to overcome.

In reality, trying to convince these folks was a whole lot of wasted time and energy that I'll never get back.

My recommendation?

If you bump into prospects like that, run the other way!

This is also true online.

Because there are plenty of people who are driven, motivated, and are looking for what you have.

They may have questions, and might need a gentle nudge...

But they don't need to be convinced or sold.
