Here's a shower thought for ya...
No one would watch an 8 hour movie, but break it into 8 episodes and people will binge straight through.
Touché.
Which gets me thinking of how many people I've heard over the years say...
"But Ferny, I just don't have the time..."
Uh-huh.
These are the same folks who will marathon their way through an entire season when it drops.
(Honestly, it was a brilliant move on Netflix's part to change viewing norms.)
Now, I'm not judging!
I've been known to binge on occasion. (Looking at you, Cobra Kai!)
But here's my point...
People MAKE time to do the things they want, particularly when it comes to entertainment, even when they claim they don't have ANY time.
All the while...
These same folks won't carve out a few hours each week to do something that will transform their finances, give them more freedom, and literally change their life.
Can't wrap my head around it.
So don't do what I did...
When I first got started in this industry, I refused to accept the "time" objection and would whip every objection handling "trick" outta my hat to overcome it.
As you can probably guess...
That was pointless.
Sure, you can get people to say "yes" with enough verbal aikido.
But you can't corner someone into having the motivation, drive, and grit to become an entrepreneur.
Besides...
"I don't have the time..." isn't the REAL objection.
It's more of a knee-jerk, defensive reaction when you put someone on the spot, kinda like...
"I just need to think about it."
What they're really saying is they don't have a burning desire to change their life.
At least, not in that moment.
And there ain't nothing you can do to change that.
Nor should you.
As the saying goes... you can lead a horse to water.
So... instead of trying to drag people, kicking and screaming, towards financial independence...
Find people who ALREADY want it.
And don't waste your time on those who don't.
Where do you find 'em?
Glad you asked!
